Kids it is time to get those creative juices flowing! In this 3-hour workshop you will learn the art of hand building with clay, guided by experienced potter and jeweller Alida Cappelletta. She will demonstrate the basics of hand forming your own pinch bowl, small cup and spoon from clay.

Add some decorative markings or shapes to your pieces making it even more personalised and special. All clay, firing and glazing is included.

Hey kids!

Ever wanted to make your very own gift cards, envelopes, and bound sketch book? Then look no further, because talented WA Printmaker, Kristy Scaddan is ready to help guide you through the steps. In this three-hour printmaking and bookbinding workshop you will experiment with natural forms like feathers, leaves, plants and flowers to create unique stationary to take home. 

Artist Kristy Scaddan completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Arts at Edith Cowan University in 2021 and is currently a finalist in the Fremantle Arts Centre 2023 Print Awards. Kristy uses the Midland Junction Arts Centre printmaking studio to create her exhibition work which is almost always based around our natural world and the West Australian landscape.

Ever wanted to dye your very own t-shirt and bag? Learn the basics of Procion dyeing on cotton in this colourful workshop. Helen will guide you through basic fabric printing and colour mixing with thickened dyes. Make your own fabric stamp and combine it with graffiti style marks in coloured dyes for a unique, one-of-a-kind look on a t-shirt and bag.

Artist in residence Marina van Leeuwen will guide you through a range of fun art processes as you create your own special 'time capsule' book.
